Institutional Accreditation
Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE): Empire State University is institutionally accredited by MSCHE, ensuring the highest standards of educational quality and institutional accountability.
Specialized Program Accreditations
- Business: The Department of Business, Management, and Leadership at Empire State University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA. - Nursing: The RN to BSN and M.S. in Nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Education: Selected graduate teacher education programs are accredited by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). These include the Master of Arts in Teaching in Middle Childhood and Adolescent Education, Master of Arts in Teaching in Adolescent Special Education, and Master of Education in Adolescent Education Accreditation.
Professional Affiliations & Alignments
- Human Resource Management (SHRM): Both our B.S. in Human Resource Management and our MBA in Business Management (HR concentration) are officially aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) curriculum guidelines.
- Finance (CFA Institute): The M.S. in Finance is recognized by the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, signaling a curriculum that prepares students for the CFA® charter.
